This tropical paradise was built in 1940 and occupies eight acres of prime Bel Air property.
There are seven bedrooms in the house and almost double the bathrooms, thirteen. Just outside the house is a huge space available for nearly 20 cars to be parked. The actual interior of the home is massive, featuring 14,000 square feet of living space. The house has some really nice work done on the ceiling and more style is added with the custom wooden floor. There are even more fireplaces in this house than there were in her Hidden Hills mansion – from what we can tell there are at least 10. This amazing California mansion was purchased by Lopez when she was married to Marc Anthony. The purchase was finalized in 2010 and at that time the price of his property was $8.2 million. Jennifer put this property on the market in January of 2015. At that time, she listed it for over $17 million. After this first listing appearance, the property kept going on and off the market – she slashed the price several times. Starting at a whopping $17.5 million, the most recent asking price was $12.5 million. Even after slashing the price by $5 million, she finally accepted an offer for $10 million.
While the selling price is $7.5 million less than the first asking price, she was still able to manage a profit on the sale knowing that she had purchased the property for only $8.2 million.
Just the location of this house was a pretty special selling point – it’s in an exclusive gated community. The mansion actually consisted of 2 different buildings that were linked to each other with a bridge. One portion of the property was designed solely as a living area, whereas the other was all about entertainment.
