Paul McCartney purchased this home from Courtney Love in 2001. Just after his purchase, there was much fanfare about the death of his Beatles bandmate George Harrison. George's death certificate claimed he died at an address on Coldwater Canyon Road, but high-profile attorney Gloria Allred insisted this address did not exist. After her forcing an investigation, it was reveled George actually died here, at Paul McCartney's home.
