When Joan first purchased the 9-bedroom, 7-bath, 8,103-square-foot mansion in September of 1928, while married to first husband Douglas Fairbanks Jr. 

She lived here until 1955, when she married to Pepsi executive Al Steele.

She sold the property to Donald O'Connor in 1957.

It was remodeled it to a 6 bedroom and 10 bathroom. It was originally in Mediterranean style.

TV talk-show host Leeza Gibbons purchased the home for a mere $1.995 million in 1991 and sold it in 2010 for $4.795 million.
