Celebrity Homes in Nashville: Who Lives Where

Where Nashville's stars live: 27 celebrity homes across Belle Meade, Forest Hills, Brentwood, Franklin, and the farm towns beyond, mapped by Velvet Ropes.

Nashville runs on proximity. The labels, the publishers, and the session players all work within a few miles of Music Row, so the people who fill arenas keep houses close enough for a Tuesday co-write. That pulls the wealth into a familiar shape: Belle Meade and Forest Hills inside Davidson County, then Brentwood, Franklin, and Leiper's Fork as the money rolls south into Williamson County.

We map those front doors for a living. Here is the area-by-area tour, 27 homes deep. Every link opens a full profile with photos, property records, and the pin on our map. Street numbers stay behind the ropes: the exact address is always the paid reveal, and that is what keeps the map honest.

Nashville proper

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman set up their Tennessee base in 2008, behind the gates of the Northumberland enclave, and Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman's house has been their Nashville anchor through everything since.

Where the house sits and what the county record says.

Big Kenny of Big & Rich worked as a builder before he worked arenas, and in 2007 he designed his own place and named it Chateau di Amore. Inside sit a working recording room he calls Last Dollar Studio and a rebuilt 19th-century Irish pub. Big Kenny's house has the full profile.

His bandmate John Rich named his hilltop mansion Mt. Richmore, and the name is not the boldest thing about it. The pool is shaped like a Gibson J-200 guitar, and a private club at the top holds a full stage with a view of downtown. Rich has walked TV crews through Mt. Richmore more than once.

Jack White traded Detroit for Nashville in 2005 and has run his record world from here since Third Man Records opened in 2009. Jack White's house stays as guarded as the man himself.

Martina McBride's neoclassical house went up in 1917, and she and her husband John stretched their budget to buy it around 2000. Billboard toured Martina McBride's house in 2016 and noted the old ghost stories had gone quiet.

Amy Grant and Vince Gill married on a rainy hillside outside Nashville in March 2000, then folded 2 families into 1 home in town. Amy Grant and Vince Gill's house has been the center of that blended life for more than 25 years.

Sheryl Crow's farm keeps the work close: a recording studio sits above the horse barn, and she added a chapel of her own on the grounds. Architectural Digest filmed inside Sheryl Crow's house for its Open Door series in 2019.

Ronnie Dunn of Brooks & Dunn runs a horse farm inside the city limits, a place he calls Parkview Farm, with a stable, a riding ring, and a party barn. Ronnie Dunn's house holds the details.

Todd Chrisley moved his family and his cameras to town when Chrisley Knows Best shifted production to Nashville for its fourth season. A 2022 federal fraud conviction sent Todd and Julie Chrisley to prison, and a presidential pardon brought them home in May 2025. Todd Chrisley's house is the Nashville chapter of that story.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have been country's first couple since they married in 1996, and their in-town base earns its own pin. Start at Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's Nashville house, because their bigger real estate story sits farther south.

Forest Hills, Taylor Swift's corner

Taylor Swift bought a Greek Revival estate in Forest Hills in 2011, behind the gates of an enclave that also carries the Northumberland name. High walls, old trees, and a guest house keep Taylor Swift's Forest Hills estate out of view, which is the point.

Her first purchase came 2 years earlier. At 20, Swift bought a penthouse in the Adelicia tower near Music Row and decorated it herself, floor-to-ceiling windows and all. It keeps its own profile as Taylor Swift's Nashville penthouse.

Brentwood

Dolly Parton and her late husband Carl Dean bought the Willow Lake estate in Brentwood in 1999, and Dolly has stayed for more than 25 years. Dolly Parton's house has the photos and the paper trail.

Lady A's Hillary Scott and her husband, drummer Chris Tyrrell, bought a colonial on a wooded Brentwood lot after their 2012 wedding and sold it in 2021. Hillary Scott's former house still holds a spot on the map.

Franklin and Leiper's Fork

Starting in 2002, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill pieced together more than 700 acres near Leiper's Fork, ground that holds Beechwood Hall, one of Williamson County's oldest antebellum houses, plus a home once owned by Hank Williams Sr. The couple let most of the acreage go in 2021, and Faith Hill's Franklin house marks that chapter.

The Judd family farm near Leiper's Fork runs about 1,000 acres and has been in the family for more than 20 years. Wynonna Judd still lives on that land, at the spot mapped as Wynonna Judd's house.

Naomi Judd lived on the same family land until her death in April 2022, one day before The Judds entered the Country Music Hall of Fame. Naomi Judd's house stays on the map as part of that shared ground.

Brad Paisley and actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley raise their family outside Franklin. In 2020 the couple opened The Store, a free referral-based grocery in Nashville built with Belmont University. Brad Paisley's house holds the home side of that story.

Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher, the retired Predators captain, built their place from the ground up on roughly 400 acres outside Franklin. Carrie Underwood's house runs more farm than mansion, with gardens, barns, a chicken coop, and a lake.

Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari bought a modern farmhouse compound outside Franklin in 2018, and its rooms became the backdrop for the first season of Cavallari's reality show. Cutler took the property in the couple's 2020 split, and the record lives at Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari's house.

DeMarco Murray landed in Franklin's Laurelbrooke neighborhood in 2016, the offseason the Titans brought him in from Dallas. His French-manor pick, mapped as DeMarco Murray's house, is the rare NFL entry on a country music map.

The outlying towns

Reba McEntire spent about 25 years at Starstruck Farm, her waterfront home on Old Hickory Lake in Lebanon, east of Nashville. She sold it in 2017, and the mansion now books weddings as The Estate at Cherokee Dock. Reba McEntire's former house keeps the history straight.

Kelly Clarkson bought a lakefront manor in Hendersonville in 2013, on the same lake as Reba's old place. She put it on the market in 2017 and needed until 2021 to close the deal. Kelly Clarkson's former house tells that whole arc.

Hendersonville has held country royalty before: Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash lived lakeside here for decades, at the home mapped as Johnny Cash's house.

Jake Owen's former place in Kingston Springs, west of the city, came with a pedigree, since he bought it from Loretta Lynn. Owen renovated it, added a tiki bar, and sold in 2017. Start at Jake Owen's former house.

Miranda Lambert went rural after her 2015 split from Blake Shelton, buying a 400-acre farm in Williamsport in 2016, about an hour southwest of the city. The land includes a stocked lake and a pavilion in the woods built for private concerts, and Miranda Lambert's farm is the pin to find.

Jason Aldean ran a 120-acre spread outside Columbia, with a bowling alley and a horse barn on the grounds, until he sold it in early 2019. Jason Aldean's former house shows what he gave up.

That is 27 front doors, and our map holds far more of Middle Tennessee than one article can. Open the Velvet Ropes map, drag it to Nashville, and work the neighborhoods pin by pin. The photos and the stories are free. The exact addresses wait behind the ropes, where they belong.
