Elton John purchased this stunning Mediterranean style abode back in 2015 for $32.6 million. The home boasts 10 bedrooms and 22 bathrooms and features a whopping 24,260 square feet of interior living space.

The 20-acre estate was acquired by John and his the-husband David Furnish after buying it from Guess co-founder Armand Marciano.

The main residence was constructed in 2001 and features three stories of luxury living space. Some noteworthy areas include the 2-story grand foyer, a massive living room with a fireplace, a formal dining, and a chef’s kitchen with double islands.

Upstairs, the master suite features a wall of glass that opens onto a private balcony with a stunning view of the grounds and city beyond. Nearby, the ensuite features a marble tub as well as a spacious glass shower.

Extra amenities include an 11-car garage, gym, game room, wine cellar, screening room, and even an elevator with access to all three floors.

Outside, you’ll also find a mosaic-tiled pool and a pool house complete with an indoor-outdoor kitchen and pizza oven. There’s even a hidden tennis court on the property (is there anything this place doesn’t have?!).
In March, 2022, Elton sold this stunning villa for $75 million!

If you’re looking for a house that truly screams that it belongs to Elton John, look no further. Elton’s Los Angeles home is everything you’ve ever dreamed of and more. With old school architecture mixed with a modern vibe, unabashed pops of color and ultra-swanky décor, this LA pad is about as Elton John-esque as it could possibly get!

The 1966 contemporary home located in the Trousdale Estates was purchased by Elton John and David Furnish in 2012 for a cool $7.2 million. The home offers 5,000 square feet of living space throughout a single story. One of the main draws for Elton and his beau was the home’s open floor plan with an open living and dining room. Always on a mission to entertain, the spacious design of the house would serve as a perfect spot to host dinner parties.

Perhaps the most dazzling aspect of Sir Elton John’s LA house is the astounding collection of art proudly displayed throughout the residence. There’s no doubt that his art collection takes center stage when it came to planning the design scheme of each room.

Elton John Atlanta House (Current)

Elton John has the means to live anywhere in the world and owns many homes, but you may be surprised by some of the places he owns luxury living space. In addition to his multiple California estates, Elton also resides in Atlanta when he’s looking to spend time in the States. Citing his love of good old-fashioned “Southern hospitality,” Elton decided to move into a high-rise condominium in Atlanta.

The affluential Park Place building in which Elton resides was built in 1986. The 40-story structure is as exclusive as they come, with other famous residents such as Oprah Winfrey. Elton John inhabits an incredible six units on the 36th floor and an additional unit on the 37th floor.

There’s no doubt Elton has a stellar personal paradise when he’s laying low in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood. The building offers terraces with scenic views, fireplaces, a 24-hour concierge, a swimming pool, sauna, and wine lockers among their long list of amenities.

In a 1993 feature in Architectural Digest, Elton John gave an in-depth tour of his home and shared his love of the phenomenal property. The star spared no expense when it came to customizing his 12,000 square feet of Southern living space, ensuring that his palatial pad oozed opulence from top to bottom.

With the help of a seasoned interior designer, Elton ensured that his living room was adorned in all white and that he had ample space to display his magnificent showpieces, including his ever-expanding art collection. The design of Elton’s Atlanta escape is all in the details – with ornate glass candelabras, 19th-century Russian stemware and collections of unique crystal sprinkled throughout the condo.

Being a native of England, it’s no surprise that Elton has a couple of homes in the UK. Elton actually has two homes in England: a house in Woodside, Old Windsor that he refers to as “the hub” and then an additional smaller house in Queensdale, London.

The star’s taste for décor varies in each of his homes. For his Windsor Estate, he describes it as “tastefully over the top”. For his London pad, Elton went with a European Villa aesthetic that is classic and refined.

He is committed to a vintage feel at Windsor, with beautiful 18th-century orangery at the end of the drive and a restriction on phones and television being used in the estate. The anything but humble Windsor castle has many rooms including a lavish library, a salon, and even a chapel.

The design for Elton’s London townhouse was inspired by the star’s friendship with the late Freddie Mercury. Elton acquired a taste for blond wood furniture after noticing how Mercury decked out his place in the same material. What may be surprising about Elton’s London home is that you won’t find a piano anywhere in sight.

The famed pianist may have baby grand pianos at his other homes, but he refuses to put one in his London base because he insists that it’ll never get used. It’s also worth noting that Elton’s Queensdale home is in the affluential Holland Park area of London, where many other celebrities live including Simon Cowell and Robbie Williams.

Elton John House Venice Italy (Rumored)

Elton John once said he owned “too many homes”…and he wasn’t kidding! In addition to his many estates all over the world, Elton also owns a piece of property in Venice, Italy.

According to reports, Elton purchased an apartment many years ago in a 17th-century palazzo on the island of Giudecca. Elton’s Italian apartment boasts three-stories in the same area where he and his former husband spent their honeymoon shortly after marrying in 2014.

His space is said to have great views of the water to San Marco, with several Gothic-style windows and a terrace to take in all the sights. The public hasn’t been privy to much information about the star’s living arrangements in Venice, other than he has been spotted in the area numerous times and it is well known that he occasionally lives in the district.

Important to note, we haven’t been able to independently confirm that this is indeed the home of Elton John, but numerous reports suggest it is.

Elton John Nice France House (Current)

You know you’re wealthy beyond belief when you refer to your villa in the French Riviera simply as a “summer house”. Elton John has owned real estate just south of Nice France since the 1990s.

His sunny yellow home was built in the 1920s as an artist’s colony before he enlisted the expert help of Fred Dilger and Monique Gibson to transform the interior to suit his flamboyant style.

Inside the lavish home, you’ll find an all-white color palette, with splashes of color exuding from the various vibrant art pieces hanging on the walls and propped up throughout the space. Floral arrangements nearly take over Sir Elton’s French villa, adding an extra pop of color and panache.

The home boasts incredible views of The Mediterranean to the Alps. There’s also exquisite landscaping that can’t be missed in the villa’s many scenic gardens. There’s no shortage of luxury property in Nice, but Elton’s estate is by far the largest.

It’s so massive that it can easily be seen from the Promenade des Anglais. A long winding road adorned with trees and elegant greenery greet guests at the gated villa. Almost like something out of a movie, Elton John’s French home is just as Nice as the town it’s built in.

Elton John 1960’s

The 1960s were a pivotal point in time for Elton John. In 1967, things started falling into place for then 20-year-old Elton when he responded to an ad in New Musical Express looking for new musical talent.

The ad was placed by Ray Williams, the manager for Liberty Records. Upon meeting Elton, Williams gave him an envelope full of lyrics written by Bernie Taupin, a music hopeful who responded to the same ad. Their chance encounter would be the birth of an incredible partnership.

Elton’s melodies paired with Bernie’s lyrics went on to produce countless hits from “Bennie And The Jets” to “Candle In The Wind” and everything in between. In 1968 the duo joined DJM records as songwriters, often creating musical masterpieces in under two hours.

On October 27, 1969, Elton would write the song that changed his career and his entire life. “Your Song” was released on his self-titled album the following year.
