Purchased by Tyler Perry in 2004 for what now seems like a measly $4.3 million, this 22-acre Beverly Hills property was designed and built to the star’s specifications. The nearly 25,000 square foot pad sits behind double security gates and houses 8 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms. Reports suggest there is a full-time security team monitoring the property round-the-clock.

In a huge turn of events after years of not much news on the property, in May 2020 it was revealed that, following their exit from official Royal duties, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were living here. They were introduced to Tyler via Oprah who helped to arrange an agreement for them to live here until they find a home of their own in LA.

Where does Tyler Perry live in Atlanta? He is currently having a house built in Atlanta, GA near his sprawling TPS facility.

For the past three years, Tyler Perry has been designing and building a massive mansion in Atlanta, GA. The 35,000 square-foot mansion is being built near his Tyler Perry Studios, which is the former Fort McPherson site in Fulton County, Georgia.

It’s a whopping 1,200-acre property that Perry plans to turn into an organic farm. He wants his son to have an appreciation for the land, nature, and animals. TMZ reports that he will have horses and other animals on the farm.

Prior to building this new home, Perry lived in a 35,000+ square foot mansion in Atlanta, complete with acres of gardens and lawns, a 70,000-gallon infinity-edge pool and a wine cellar fit for a king.

He sold it in 2016 for $17.5 million. It hit the market again in mid-2018 for $25 million, and in May 2020, Steve Harvey bought it!

Tyler Perry purchased his Beverly Hills home in August 2017 for $14.5 million. He is now selling it just a few months later for $16.995 million. According to the real estate site, Zillow, the home is actually worth over $17 million.

Thanks to our pals at The Blast, we now know that Tyler Perry sold the home to none other than Pharrell in May 2018 for $15.6 million. That means Perry made a smooth $1.1 million on the home.

The glass-walled mansion is 17,245 square feet and is located between Beverly Hills and Sherman Oaks, in one of the wealthiest neighborhoods of the most famous zip code in America – 90210. The giant mansion sits on 4.25 acres. It also has a whopping 10 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms!

The home is open-concept. As you walk into the foyer, you find a series of marble stairways that seem to float over a koi pond and stream that runs through the entire house. The grounds of the estate are almost resort-like and has more than enough room for entertaining large parties and charity events.

The glass walls are perfect for letting natural light in, but also light up the outside from the lighting inside. They also give gorgeous panoramic views of the San Fernando Valley.

The dining room is interesting; because, instead of a traditional chandelier, it has a crystal sculpture that seems to hang upside down above the table.

The game room includes a pool table and huge screen perfect for sporting events.

Outside, you will find professional-quality tennis courts and an outdoor dining terrace. The swimming pool includes a rock sculpture, waterfall, slide, and grotto. I’m totally in for a pool party!
