Adam Levine's House (former)

Maroon 5 frontman since the band’s Kara’s Flowers days in 1994, behind “This Love” and “Moves like Jagger.” He spent 2011 to 2019 as a coach on NBC’s The Voice, then returned in 2025.

The county assessor dates the house to 1940 and files it under its Santa Monica Canyon and Riviera cluster. The same record carries an effective year of 2010, the assessor’s marker for a major update.

Architectural Digest credits the one-story ranch house to architect Cliff May and places its design in the 1930s. The county roll gives 1940 as the build year.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner bought the estate from producer Brian Grazer in 2009 and renovated it heavily. They moved out not long after announcing their separation and sold it to Adam Levine in January 2019.

Levine and his wife, Behati Prinsloo, hired the mother-and-son designers Kathleen and Tommy Clements to lead the redesign. Landscape architect Mark Rios reworked the grounds around the ranch.

In a 2021 Architectural Digest tour, Levine said, “We didn’t want a palatial McMansion.” He added that Beverly Hills had started to feel hectic, and the couple wanted somewhere quieter.

Levine and Prinsloo sold the ranch in May 2022 and moved up the coast to Montecito. The county roll logs that change of ownership too, resetting the parcel’s base year to 2022.
