Pop singer and actor who went from Broadway’s 13 at 15 to Nickelodeon’s Victorious, then to No. 1 albums like Thank U, Next. Her Glinda in the 2024 film Wicked earned her an Oscar nomination.

Benedict Canyon is named for Edson Benedict, a downtown grocer who bought 160 acres of Rancho Rodeo de las Aguas in 1868. His family kept bees here, and his son Pierce claimed 45,000 pounds of honey in a single year.

The canyon road below was proposed in 1914 as a shortcut from Beverly Hills to the Valley and did not fully open until 1926. By 1932 the Benedicts had sold off every acre.

Ariana leased this Mediterranean-style hillside house; she never owned it. Architectural Digest dates her move to 2015, while our own archive has her arriving in April 2016.

Dirt reported the lease last ran $40,000 a month. She stayed several years, per Architectural Digest, and only then started buying homes of her own.

The marble halls and wrought-iron railings turned up so often on her social feeds that fans learned to spot them, according to Architectural Digest. Out back, the pool faces the city skyline.
