Dennis Quaid's House

Actor with a 40-year run of leading roles: The Right Stuff, The Parent Trap, The Rookie. He was 70 when he took the title role in 2024's Reagan.

Hillwood sits on land the grocery magnate Horace Greeley Hill started buying around his home, Cliff Lawn, in 1910. After he died in 1942, his son carved the acreage into this subdivision.

The neighborhood's country club followed in 1957, its course laid out by Dick Wilson. PGA Tour pro Brandt Snedeker grew up playing it and is still a member.

Dennis landed in Hillwood in 2021, a year after trading Los Angeles for Nashville. He and his wife looked at Franklin acreage first before settling on this side of town.

The Hillwood house became the primary address: he listed his Brentwood Hills place in Los Angeles at $5.2M in July 2026, 9 years after buying it.

His grandfather left Tennessee for Texas by covered wagon in 1903. Dennis calls the Nashville move a return to family roots.

He cut his first gospel record after the move. Fallen: A Gospel Record for Sinners came out in July 2023 through Gaither Music Group, mixing hymns with his own “On My Way to Heaven.”
