Harrison Ford's House

The canyon belonged to Rancho San Vicente y Santa Monica, and an 1881 map calls its creek Casa Viejo.

Lower Mandeville was subdivided in 1926 and sold to Garden Foundation, Inc., which planted botanical gardens. The Depression stopped the rest.

Ford and Calista Flockhart bought the house new in 2010. It replaced the Brentwood home he had owned for almost 30 years.

Robert Taylor and Barbara Stanwyck owned a ranch in this canyon; Norman Lear lived here for decades.

When the Palisades Fire reached Brentwood in January 2025, Ford evacuated, then rode an LAPD car back up to check the house.
