Jennifer Aniston's Malibu Beach House (former rental)

A private beach house on Malibu’s Carbon Beach, identified as the place Jennifer Aniston rented after her 2005 split from Brad Pitt. Aniston played Rachel Green for 10 seasons of Friends.

Architectural Digest reported in 2025 that after the split, Aniston rented a Malibu beach house owned by Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison for 2 years. The magazine did not say which beach.

The blog IAMNOTASTALKER named this house as Aniston’s rental in 2010, dating it to 1945 and describing it as “supposedly owned by” Ellison. It put her lease at early 2005 through 2007.

Ellison spent more than $180M on Malibu homes in 2004 and 2005 alone, according to Bisnow. Over roughly a decade to 2013, he assembled a string of beachfront houses on Carbon Beach.

CAL FIRE’s inspection after the January 2025 Palisades Fire rated the house “Affected,” meaning 1% to 9% damage, the mildest grade a damaged house gets. Both next-door houses were rated “No Damage.”
