Kris Jenner's House

Hidden Hills, CA

The Story

Kris Jenner is the momager and executive producer behind the family’s reality-TV empire. She launched “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” on the E network in 2007, a run that lasted 20 seasons.

The house went up in 1998 in a Spanish and Mediterranean style, anchored by a double staircase that splits the foyer in two.

Designers Kathleen and Tommy Clements, working with Waldo Fernandez, gave the foyer and kitchen the black-and-white checkerboard floor that became the show’s visual signature.

Kris and her then-husband Caitlyn bought the property in 2010, while their daughters Kendall and Kylie were still in high school.

Kris later passed the house to her son Rob, who lived there with his daughter Dream. Kim also stayed there during a renovation of her own home.

The foyer doubled as the backdrop for the family’s Christmas Eve parties and their annual holiday photos across the show’s original run.

When Kris put the house on the market, Caitlyn came back for a farewell gathering filmed for the family’s current show. Kris said she could not say goodbye to the house without inviting her.
