Kylie Jenner's House
Los Angeles, CA
The Story
Reality star on Keeping Up with the Kardashians since 2007, she turned Kylie Cosmetics into a $600 million deal with Coty by age 22 in 2019. Forbes named her the youngest self-made billionaire that year.
A mid-century house once owned by interior designer John Cottrell stood on the 0.8-acre lot until developer Gala Asher bought it for $12 million in 2017 and cleared the lot for a new build.
Asher rebuilt the site as a concrete courtyard compound with a pool at its center, wrapped in walls with 12-foot gates built for total privacy.
Kylie closed on the finished compound in 2020, becoming its first resident after two years of Asher’s construction on the site.
She put the mansion up for sale at $48 million in December 2025, then pulled it in March 2026. It returned in June at $38.5 million, once her new compound elsewhere was finished.
Holmby Hills was carved out of the old Wolfskill ranch in 1925, when the Janss Investment Company began selling one-to-four acre lots and barred owners from subdividing for 50 years.
