Ozzy Osbourne & Sharon Osbourne's House (former)

Ozzy Osbourne fronted Black Sabbath from 1969 to 1979, then built a solo career his wife and manager, Sharon, steered. He died on July 22, 2025, at 76, after years with Parkinson’s disease.

Paul Revere Williams designed the house in 1955, and the Los Angeles Times named him as its architect. Los Angeles knew him as the architect to the stars.

Los Angeles County dates the build to 1955 and carries a later effective year of 1962, the assessor’s marker for major improvement. The parcel is a corner lot of 0.94 acre.

Ozzy and Sharon were tenants here, not owners. They rented the Georgian traditional house for 4 years and moved out in 2016, at a rent the Los Angeles Times put as high as $50,000 a month.

They were living here in May 2016 when they announced a separation, and back together by August. The owners put the house on the market that October.

The Osbournes’ landlord sold the property in 2025, 9 years after they moved out. Los Angeles County records mark the change of ownership with a 2025 base year.

Williams was the first Black architect admitted to the American Institute of Architects, in 1923, and its first Black Fellow in 1957. The Beverly Hills Hotel, a short walk south, is among his landmarks.
