Steve Harvey's Frisco House (former)

Frisco, TX

The Story

Steve Harvey came up through Cleveland comedy clubs in the 1980s, then hosted Showtime at the Apollo and starred in The Steve Harvey Show. Since 2010 he has been the face of Family Feud.

This 2001 custom build sits inside Starwood, a guard-gated Frisco community in Collin County, and Steve and Mary Harvey owned it from 2002. The family’s ownership ended with Mary Lee Harvey’s 2011 sale.

The Collin Central Appraisal District’s deed history records Steve and Mary Harvey taking title on 4 November 2002. The grantor was a Steve Roberts family real-estate partnership, the builder’s own entity.

The same record logs a 25 February 2008 divorce transfer that left Mary Lee Harvey sole owner. She conveyed it to a private buyer by quitclaim in June 2009 and warranty deed in May 2011.

The divorce was granted in 2005, 3 years before that transfer, in Collin County, where the court awarded Mary Lee Harvey 3 homes, according to The Philadelphia Sunday Sun and FindLaw. Neither names this house.

Harvey’s suburban-Dallas sale that Variety’s Dirt covered in 2020 was a different property, his Little Elm estate, not this one. The Frisco house had left the family 9 years earlier.

Starwood is guard-gated, and the house cannot be seen from a public street. It has been a private home in other hands since 2011, with no public access.
