The Twilight Swan House
St. Helens, OR
The Story
This house in St. Helens, Oregon, played Bella Swan’s home in Twilight (2008), a story set in Forks, Washington. Much of the film was shot in town, which stood in for Port Angeles.
The first film shot inside this 1930s house as well as outside, the only one of the series that did. In 2019 the dining table used in filming was still in the house.
For the sequels, the house’s rooms were recreated on a soundstage, according to Matador Network in 2019. The Swan rooms you see in the later films are a set, not this house.
The house went up for sale in August 2018, a decade after the film, at $349,900. Cascade Sotheby’s International Realty brought it to market.
By late July 2019 the house was a themed rental called the Twilight Swan House, taking up to 10 guests from about $330 a night. Inside is for booked guests only.
