The Story
A pink-on-pink rooftop restaurant and pool lounge on the 12th floor of Midtown’s Graduate Nashville, named for Dolly Parton’s 1989 album White Limozeen. Dolly has no stake; it is all homage.
White Limozeen was slated to open in March 2020, then a tornado outbreak and the pandemic hit Nashville back to back. The rooftop finally opened on July 18, 2020.
Graduate Hotels designed it in-house: an onyx wraparound bar, fringed pink umbrellas, and floral daybeds around a wading pool. Bar director Demi Natoli arrived from Nashville’s Patterson House.
Restaurateur Marc Rose co-developed the concept, a study in “care-free luxury”: portraits of country music queens, Grand Ole Opry-style curtains, and a rhinestone-crusted ceiling mirror.
The bubblegum-pink chicken-wire Dolly on the pool patio is 9 feet tall and weighs 942 pounds. Artist Ricky Pittman built her.
The bar throws Dolly a birthday party each January 19. For her 80th in 2026, that meant a lookalike contest, a DJ, and drink proceeds routed to her Imagination Library.
Downstairs in the same hotel: Poindexter Coffee and Cross-Eyed Critters Watering Hole, a karaoke bar with robotic musicians. The lobby rug portrait of Minnie Pearl is by artist Margaret Timbrell.
