Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert's House (former)

Brentwood, TN

The Story

Blake Shelton's 2001 debut single “Austin” held the number 1 country spot for 5 weeks. He has since put 30 singles at number 1 and coached on The Voice from 2011 to 2023.

The Greek Revival house that now serves as the golf club's clubhouse was finished in 1858 for John Winstead. Enslaved workers spent 3 years making its brick and limestone blocks.

The land traces back to a 1793 North Carolina military land grant to Joseph Ferebee. Brentwood's commission approved the gated golf community here in 1996, with 438 home sites across more than 600 acres.

Shelton and Miranda Lambert bought the 2001 house in 2013, 2 years into their marriage. The place is called Graymont, and its lawn runs down to the 15th green of the Arnold Palmer course.

Their July 2015 divorce settlement left Lambert with the Tennessee house and Shelton with his 1,200-acre ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.

The house went back on the market after the split, handled by Zeitlin agent Marty Warren. Its resale was reported in January 2017.

Shelton's own honky tonk, Ole Red, opened at 300 Broadway in downtown Nashville on June 6, 2018, about 20 miles north of the club gates.
