Ventura County's parcel roll puts the villa on nearly 21 acres, one of a dozen parcels along its gated road. The latest deed on it is dated October 9, 2015, days before Britney's purchase made the news.

Architect Ron Firestone designed the main house, according to the brokerage that marketed the estate in 2014. The grounds also held 2 extra building pads with room for as many as 12 horses.

Britney bought the villa in October 2015 to celebrate the 2-year extension of her Las Vegas residency, Domino reported, citing TMZ. The house came with an oak-paneled library and a 3-hole golf course.

A day after her June 2022 wedding here, Britney bought a house in Calabasas, a few miles away. She had sold it by March 2023, when Fox Business noted she had lived in Thousand Oaks since 2015.

Britney married Sam Asghari here on June 9, 2022, before several dozen guests including Madonna, Selena Gomez, and Paris Hilton. Her ex-husband Jason Alexander turned up uninvited, livestreaming, and got inside the house before the ceremony.

In August 2022, Alexander pleaded no contest in Ventura County to misdemeanor counts of aggravated trespassing and battery, the AP and LBC reported. Prosecutors said he struck a security guard who tried to remove him.
