Dak Prescott's House

Dak Prescott has quarterbacked the Dallas Cowboys since 2016, a 4th-round pick out of Mississippi State who took Offensive Rookie of the Year. His September 2024 extension set the highest yearly average in NFL history.

Prosper was built in 1902 as a stop on a new railroad line, and the nearby town of Rock Hill moved to it. It incorporated in 1914 with 500 people, farming cotton and corn on the Blackland Prairie.

The tract sits in Whispering Farms, a 275-acre development of 108 homesites laced with 2.5 miles of hike, bike, and equestrian trails running down to Town Lake Park.

Prescott took title in June 2019, by warranty deed, to 7 acres in the second phase of the development. Collin County still carries the parcel in a private trust.

He laid a 55-yard turf practice field behind the house, D4K logos and Faith spelled across one end zone, the A drawn as his late mother Peggy's silhouette. The company behind the turf at AT&T Stadium built it.

In October 2024, a month after the extension, the 2012 house came down. He brought in the Dude Perfect crew to help bulldoze it, and posed for photos on the machines himself.

The land stayed his through it. Collin County's roll now carries a house built in 2025 on the same ground, and the parcel has not changed hands since 2019.
