Demarco Murray's House (former)

Franklin, TN

The Story

DeMarco Murray is a former NFL running back who led the league in rushing for the Dallas Cowboys in 2014, winning Offensive Player of the Year. He closed his career with the Titans in 2017.

The house went up in 2007 with the lines of a French manor, then was redesigned inside to suit its owners’ taste.

F. David Bender owned the house before Murray, buying it in 2010 and holding it for 6 years before the sale.

Murray closed on the house in the spring of 2016, the same year the Titans traded for him from Philadelphia.

He lived there with his wife and their 2 children through the rest of his playing career.

Murray listed the house in July 2019, about a year after he retired from football. The sale closed the following February, for less than he had paid for it.

The gated Laurelbrooke community spans 600 acres between Green Hills and downtown Franklin, with its own clubhouse, tennis courts, and walking trails.
