Elisabeth Hasselbeck's House

Elisabeth Hasselbeck went from Survivor: The Australian Outback in 2001 to a decade on The View, then 2 years on Fox & Friends. She married Tim Hasselbeck, an NFL quarterback turned ESPN analyst.

She announced her Fox & Friends exit on November 23, 2015, calling her next job “chief breakfast officer.” Her reason: “the kids need the best of me, not the rest of me.”

The Hasselbecks bought the house from Don and Jane McLeod in June 2016. The deal ranked 8th on the Nashville Scene's Headline Homes list for the month.

Davidson County's parcel map still lists the Hasselbecks as owners on a deed recorded June 16, 2016 in the Highlands of Belle Meade. The county appraisal tops $4.6M.

Originally the suburb was cut from Belle Meade, a stud farm that topped 5,000 acres in the early 1890s. The Harding family gave up the last of it around 1904, and subdivision followed.

Baptist preacher John Dillahunty founded Richland Creek Church near here in 1796, the first Baptist church south of the Cumberland River. A state archaeologist verified the family's graves along this lane in 2003.

Nashville was already Hasselbeck country: Tim's brother Matt spent 2 seasons under center for the Titans before the family arrived.
