Hillary Scott-Tyrrell's House (former)

Brentwood, TN

The Story

Hillary Scott co-fronts Lady A, the country trio formerly known as Lady Antebellum. “Need You Now” swept Record of the Year and Song of the Year at the 2011 Grammys.

The house went up in 2006 as a white clapboard Colonial with black shutters, set on nearly 3.5 wooded acres on Brentwood's semi-rural outskirts.

Scott and her husband, Lady A drummer Chris Tyrrell, bought the place a few months after their January 2012 wedding.

The couple put the colonial up for sale in 2020 and cut the price after nearly a year without a buyer.

By the time it sold, Scott and Tyrrell had already moved into a red brick colonial on a gated cul-de-sac near downtown Brentwood.

The band shortened its name to Lady A that same year, dropping “Antebellum” over the word's ties to the slaveholding South.
