Jake Owen's House

Jake Owen left Vero Beach, Florida, for Nashville and has been on country radio since 2006. Barefoot Blue Jean Night, his 2011 chart-topper, set the barefoot beach-country register he has worked ever since.

The main house is a 2018 build, a barn and home under one roof, per Cheatham County assessor records. The county still classes the tract agricultural, and its latest appraisal puts the improvements at $2.7M.

Kingston Springs earned its name the long way: a hotel and tavern went up by the sulfur springs in 1819, and from 1880 a commuter train called The Accommodation carried Nashvillians out for the waters.

Owen bought this land in 2017, and it was waiting when his previous Kingston Springs place sold faster than he planned: on the market on a Monday, gone by Wednesday, buyers in by Christmas.

He rode out the build in a manufactured tiny house trucked onto the property, about one-tenth the size of the place he had sold. He told the Bobby Bones Show he loved it.

Owen later walked Entertainment Tonight's cameras across the farm in a tour segment tied to his single Up There, Down Here. ET billed it at 150 acres; the deed says 145.87.

Cheatham County records show the farm moved into the Crackerman Trust in August 2023, with Owen as trustee under his legal name, Joshua Ryan Owen. It recorded at $0, a paper move, not a sale.
