Jake Owen's House (former)
Kingston Springs, TN
The Story
Florida-raised country singer who hit No. 1 in 2011 with “Barefoot Blue Jean Night.” A wakeboarding accident sidelined his golf ambitions and led him to guitar instead.
The other name tied to this house is Loretta Lynn. She’s the Coal Miner’s Daughter, inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1988.
The house went up in 2006 on more than 7 wooded acres in Kingston Springs, with a recording studio and a tiki bar in place by 2017.
Kingston Springs is a rural community about 30 minutes by car from downtown Nashville, in the wooded hills of Cheatham County.
Lynn owned the house before Jake did and sold it to him in 2012.
Jake expanded the primary suite and renovated the kitchen, then listed the house for $1.5M in 2017; it sold that December. By June 2022 it was back on the market for $2.1M.
Country singer Thomas Rhett owns property nearby, in the same stretch of Cheatham County outside Nashville.
