Jay Cutler's House

Jay Cutler quarterbacked the Broncos, Bears, and Dolphins from 2006 to 2017 after starting 45 straight games at Vanderbilt, a few miles north of here. He married reality star Kristin Cavallari in Nashville in 2013.

The Mediterranean-influenced villa went up in 2007 with 25 rooms and geothermal heating and cooling. The kitchen was freshly redone before the family put it up for sale in 2018.

The house sits in Bancroft, an enclave of about 20 tracts inside the satellite city of Forest Hills. Davidson County parcel records put its lot at 8.56 acres, 2nd largest on the street.

Cutler and Cavallari bought the place in 2012. When it went on the market in 2018 he said, “We got married and had three children since we have owned that house.”

Season 1 of Cavallari’s Nashville-set reality series was shot largely here in 2018, the same year the family decamped to a farm near Leiper’s Fork, about 30 miles south.

It took 2 years, repeated price cuts, and a divorce announcement to sell. The deal closed in early July 2020, and Cutler had been living here alone since the couple’s April split.
