John Cena's Land O' Lakes House

A private house in Land O’ Lakes, Pasco County, about 20 miles north of Tampa. County deed records and local press, read together, tie it to WWE wrestler and actor John Cena.

Pasco County deed records show a buyer named John F. Cena paying $525,000 for the house and $160,000 for the empty lot next door, both recorded the same week in January 2005.

The record starts in October 2004, when the house deed was signed. A closing paper from that sale gives the buyer’s mailing address as a house in West Newbury, Massachusetts.

Massachusetts land records show the West Newbury house bought in 1978 by a couple with the names biographies give for the wrestler’s parents. That is the Florida buyer’s link to Cena.

Pasco County logged 15 years of building work under the Cena name, 2006 to 2020: pools, fireplaces, carpentry, and solar. The filings cover both the house and the lot next door.

In April 2013, after a WWE title win, Land O’ Lakes Patch ran a story on Cena bringing the title home, noting that he “does call Land O’ Lakes home.”

The Tampa Bay Times places him in the same town, calling him a “Land O’Lakes resident” in a post on one of his returns to WWE.

The house sits inside a planned development with its own owners association, according to the recorded closing papers. It is a private home with no public access, so do not approach.
