Judge Judy Sheindlin's House (former)

Naples, FL

The Story

Judy Sheindlin spent a decade as a Manhattan family court judge before Judge Judy premiered in 1996. The show ran 25 seasons, to 2021, and earned her a Guinness World Record as TV's longest-serving courtroom arbitrator.

Pelican Bay began in 1972, when a Westinghouse division partnered with the Collier family to develop 2,330 beachfront acres north of downtown Naples. Westinghouse bought the Colliers out in 1979, per the Pelican Bay Foundation.

Collier County's roll counts 2 buildings on this parcel, the house and its guest quarters, and dates both to 1992. It records the lot as Pelican Bay Unit 10 homesites merged into a single parcel.

Judy and her husband, Jerry Sheindlin, bought here in late 2015, leaving the Gulf-front penthouse at the Windsor at Bay Colony they bought in 2005. An AP report put the 2 homes about a kilometer apart.

Judy later moved the title to her son Adam Levy and his wife, Lori, the owners of record on the Collier County roll. The family sold on December 29, 2025, per the Naples Daily News.

Benzinga's account of the 2025 sale described black marble floors, a staircase wrapped in floral wallpaper, and rooms painted turquoise, purple, and blue. Outside is a 74-foot saltwater lagoon pool with 3 waterfalls.

Bay Colony shares a single community association with the Estates at Bay Colony Golf Club, a gated enclave in Pelican Marsh. The club's Southern plantation-style clubhouse was completed in 1997, per its own history.
