Keith Urban & Nicole Kidman's House (former)
Nashville, TN
The Story
Keith Urban left Australia for Nashville in 1992 and broke through a decade later with “Somebody Like You.” He married Nicole Kidman, the Oscar-winning actress, in Sydney in June 2006.
Bancroft is a gated enclave in Forest Hills, the satellite city south of Green Hills with its own tax rolls. The county maps 21 parcels on its 2 lanes, most between 2 and 3 acres.
The parcel here is Lot 24 on the subdivision plat, 2.03 acres on the Davidson County roll. The longest-tenured neighbor on the lane has held their lot since April 2002.
Urban and Kidman sold the house in late 2007 for $2.36M, a year and a half into their marriage. The Nashville Post's home-sales column singled the deal out the following spring.
The couple moved across town in 2008, paying $3.47M for an estate in the gated Northumberland community. Kidman kept that home when their divorce was finalized in January 2026.
This house made the papers again in August 2017, when its later owners sold it in one of the month's 10 biggest Davidson County deals, logged by the Nashville Scene's Headline Homes column.
Forest Hills keeps this kind of company. An auction house pitching a lot here in 2025 counted Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Jack White, and Dolly Parton among the city's residents, past and present.
