Mark Cuban's House

Laguna Beach, CA

The Story

Billionaire entrepreneur who sold Broadcast.com to Yahoo in 1999 and bought the Dallas Mavericks in 2000. TV audiences know him as a Shark Tank investor, and in 2023 he sold his controlling stake in the team.

The house went up in 2010 and changed hands in 2012, according to property records cited by the Orange County Business Journal. It is one of 13 homes beside a luxury resort on the Laguna coast.

The neighboring resort opened in 2003 on the old Treasure Island Mobile Home Park, per Western Art & Architecture. Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz filmed The Long, Long Trailer there, and 2 palms still carry their names.

Cuban bought it in December 2018, his first known purchase in Orange County, according to the Business Journal. It was also the enclave’s highest sale of the preceding year.

Ownership comes with resort privileges: the Business Journal noted Cuban would have in-room dining, the fitness center, and the resort pool. He paid less than the house had fetched in 2012.

The Business Journal’s 2026 list of Orange County’s wealthiest still counts the house among his holdings, a vacation retreat. Cuban has said he enjoys spending several weeks there each year.

The sellers’ agents were John Stanaland and his son Tyler, then of Villa Real Estate. Tyler later joined the cast of Netflix’s Selling the OC.
