Michael Jordan's House (former)

Park City, UT

The Story

Michael Jordan won 6 NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls in the 1990s, finals MVP every time. He retired for good in 2003 and later owned the Charlotte Hornets from 2010 to 2023.

Summit County's parcel record dates the house to 2006 and puts it in the first phase of the Glenwild subdivision, on nearly 4 acres. Of the 24 parcels the record shows along the same road, only 1 is larger.

Tom Fazio designed the Glenwild course, built in 2001, and GolfPass counts fewer than 200 homes in the whole community. Golf Digest has named it the best course in Utah.

Jordan bought the house in 2007, a year after it was finished, according to both Sports Illustrated and the Deseret News. KUTV described it as his vacation home.

Jordan put the house up for sale in October 2019, and SnowBrains found it still unsold the next April. Sports Illustrated reported in 2026 that he sold it in 2020, after more than a decade here.

Fox Business, when the house went up for sale in 2019, put a golf simulator and a stadium-seating theater inside. A fitting setup for a man who played the Fazio course right below the windows.

Comedian Bill Engvall of Blue Collar Comedy was a fellow Glenwild homeowner in 2017, per the Deseret News. Western Home Journal toured the house he and his wife moved into there in 2016.
