Reba McEntire's House (former)

Grammy-winning country singer known as “the Queen of Country,” recording since 1975 with hits like “Fancy” and “Whoever’s in New England.” Her sitcom Reba ran on The WB from 2001 to 2007.

The Hale family built this Southern Colonial mansion in 1960. Their stallion, Ebony Masterpiece, was the 1962 Tennessee Walking Horse world champion, and decades-old trees they planted still fill the gardens.

Reba and her then-husband Narvel Blackstock called the estate home for about 25 years, until their marriage ended in 2015.

She sold it in July 2017 for $5 million to Nashville businessman Deron Lichte, who set out to turn it into an event venue.

The buyer soon relisted the roughly 8-acre mansion parcel for $2.95 million after filing plans to split the surrounding land into 15 house lots.

ABC’s The Bachelor alum Ben Higgins married Jessica Clarke here, one of several celebrity events the estate has hosted since it became a venue.

The mansion operates today as the Estate at Cherokee Dock, a wedding and event venue on Old Hickory Lake managed by Nashville-based Infinity Hospitality since 2021.
