Taylor Swift's House (former)
Beverly Hills, CA
The Story
Singer-songwriter who broke out in country music as a teenager in 2006 and crossed over to pop. In 2024 she became the first artist to win the Grammy for album of the year 4 times.
The county assessor dates the main house to 1941 and the guest cottage on the second lot to 1927. The cottage is the older building by 14 years.
On the county tax roll, both lots sit inside the City of Los Angeles, not the City of Beverly Hills. Only the 90210 mailing address says Beverly Hills.
Swift bought the place in 2011, the year after Speak Now came out, when she was spending more and more time in Los Angeles, according to Taste of Country.
The Los Angeles Times called it a country-style traditional on 2 parcels, with a guest house, a tennis and sports court, vine-covered arbors, and an outdoor fireplace.
Swift sold it in an off-market deal in spring 2018. The Los Angeles Times reported the sale that May, the same week she put a second Beverly Hills house up for sale.
The county roll still carries the 2018 sale as the tax base on both lots, so the house has not changed hands since Swift sold it.
