Kelsea Ballerini's House

Kelsea Ballerini’s 2015 debut “Love Me Like You Mean It” topped country airplay, a first for a woman’s debut since Carrie Underwood. The Knoxville native joined the Grand Ole Opry in 2019.

The house was designer Louisa Pierce’s own home first, styled in her firm Pierce & Ward’s maximalist prints. Kacey Musgraves bought it in 2020 and had Lindsay Rhodes pare it back to neutrals.

On the county books the property is half of Glendale Reserve, a 2-home development organized in 2011 around a shared 1.03-acre common ground.

Ballerini had eyed the house online since 2020 and texted Musgraves during her 2022 divorce to ask if she would ever sell. The 2 singers closed the deal without agents, woman to woman.

The purchase ran through a trust rather than her own name, and Davidson County’s parcel roll still named that trust as owner in mid-2026.

She finalized her divorce at the courthouse on the morning of November 15, 2022, got the keys the same day, and played the Opry that night. The deed was recorded 2 days later.

Musgraves passed it on with a phrase that stuck, telling her it was a “healing house.” Ballerini retold the story on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast.
