Sofia Vergara's House

Sofia Vergara played Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on Modern Family for all 11 seasons, 2009 to 2020, and earned 5 Emmy nominations for it. She has judged America’s Got Talent since 2020 and led Netflix’s Griselda in 2024.

The county roll dates the house to 2006 on lot 6 of Tract 11238, with an effective year of 2012 that signals a later remodel. Zoning BHR1* puts it inside Beverly Hills proper, in the Bev Hills North cluster.

Robb Report places the house in the Benedict Canyon area, behind gates and an overgrown hedge on a fairly busy street. The canyon was part of Rancho de las Aguas before Edson Benedict homesteaded it in 1868.

Vergara bought the Tuscan-style house in 2014, the year before she married Joe Manganiello, and brought in designer Jennifer Bevan to redo the interiors. Bevan’s remodel added French doors and carved stone fireplaces.

On the 2017 Emmys red carpet Vergara told Giuliana Rancic that Joe “has a dungeon room downstairs in our basement.” Eight friends play Dungeons & Dragons there for 6 or 8 hours while she sets out food.

Manganiello named that room the Gary Gygax Memorial Dungeon and ran the campaign as Dungeon Master. Variety’s 2020 roster: Tom Morello, Vince Vaughn, showrunner Dan Weiss, Paul “The Big Show” Wight, and James Gunn as a drop-in.

The house went on the market in mid 2022 while the couple finished a 2-year gut renovation of a larger Beverly Park house up the hill. Divorce came in 2023, and unnamed buyers closed on April 23, 2024.
